Honestly, who on the Oilers doesn't? McDavid (although you could certainly argue he is probably paid a $1m too much), Drysaddle (definitely paid too much to be a complimentary winger to McD), and Nuge (decent dollar finally for an OK 2nd line center or very good 3rd line center). You could maybe take a flyer on Klef (not overpaid necessarily, but a decent number 3 and made of glass) and Nurse (overpaid for what he is today, and you'd have to believe you could turn him into something more than an average bottom pairing guy).
Really, I wouldn't take a single one of their D for any of the top 7 D Calgary has, and they only have 3 forwards anyone would take at all.

Even Nuge is maybe $500K too much for what he brings. He's a 3C on this team - or maybe you could put him on the 2nd line wing instead of Frolik. Same with Nurse. I'd take either of them with a smallish salary retention. I'd take Talbot for cheap. Or Koskinen. I think either guy could be OK as a backup or 1B with Rittich.
I think Draisaitl is a good player - not quite elite. He'd actually be a pretty good fit on the first or second line here. But at a proper salary, which means less than what you'd give Stone, who I think is a much better all around player. They will never be able to move him because he throws every team's cap out of whack.
