2 extra games in the AHL just buys them more time to try and figure out how to get under the cap. They are basically screwed... they'd either have to send multiple players down and play short handed (like that would really matter considering the crap they have for players) or trade someone for virtually no return as I don't see other GMs wanting to help out this loser franchise any.
