That's where you can tell they're just kind of saying things because they know the Flames are one of the top Canadian teams so they have to talk about them.
No chance they'd be talking about irrelevant things like that with the Leafs, they know the day to day of the east teams like the back of their hands. Again, it's not the end of the world as they are really talented and fun to watch in terms of Raptors, baseball, east hockey etc.
But they're definitely in that big group of eastern reporters that likely isn't staying up til midnight regularly watching west teams. Just the nature of times zones.
