I get there's no accounting for personal taste but in general I've been worried about the state of Sled in recent years. It really feels like the festival's been getting dragged down along with the general negative trends the city at large has been going through. The sheer number of acts stays steady but somehow every year it feels like it's getting smaller and smaller.

What’s your issue, exactly? Too mainstream? Not mainstream enough?
The biggest problem I have with Sled is me being too old and out of shape to make it to see all the bands I want to. The friends I usually go with have kids now and don’t want to go, and my social anxiety makes going solo really tough.
