Shootouts are so frustrating, what an awful way to end a game.

Neal tried to fake blocker and steer the puck 5 hole. Looked bad with Markstrom reading it, but not as bad as it looked.
Man. This place is punishing at times.
Give Rittich 20 more easy shots and the stats tell you he was a star. Is he at fault that he has to wait almost half a period for Boeser’s laser? (Crosses Royal Road, sniper with time and space - If Monny scores that, nobody runs the opposing goalie under the bus)
Even the one stoppable goal he would want back, was a wicked release. They showed a few of his other goals in the intermission and you get his heavy of a shot he has.
I will say that Markstrom had a few tremendous saves. Lots of good positional ones. Arguably the best one in my mind was the blocker upper arm on Mangiapane’s tip.
Also, so stupid to call out a goalie on one shootout goal against. That’s expected. The best goalies may be up around .750 careerwise. Only about a third are over .700. So getting in to one shootout, you are in statistically insignificant range. 2/3 saves is pretty much expected.
