Wow, incredible story, thanks for sharing. I tutored a 15 year old girl from Eritrea for a year or so through the Association For New Canadians. We read Goosebumps books for her to practice reading. Her family was so grateful to be here and she was a fantastic student. Newfoundland winters sure took some getting used to, though
