When was the last time Rittich faced "real pressure"? To my mind the Edmonton game before the break was the Flames biggest game between last night and the NYE SJ game. While the Oilers are a crappy team, it was a building in which the Flames had never won, it was a National game, and Edmonton was coming off two crucial wins and desperate to make up ground in the playoff race.
Rittich won both those games, and he was really good in Edmonton.
