I have always wondered why TSN has never done a 30 for 30 style with Canadian sports. Are there just no good independent Canadian directors out there that know anything about sports? I am tired of the CBC style crap we get, we deserve better imo. These are just the moments from the top of my head, Who wouldnt be watching and buying this DVD box set?
Atlanta 4x100 and 100m
Canada Cup with Esposito
Flames vs Oilers / Calgary vs Edmonton
Oilers Dynasty / boys on the bus
Pocklingtons troubles and selling 99
Canadiens Dynasty
Original 6, the good, the bad, and the ugly
Rocket Ismail
Doug Flutie
Pinball Clemons
Gizmo Williams
Eskimos dynasty
The Forum
HNIC
Harold Ballard
Nordiques leaving and becoming a dynasty in Colorado
Expos leaving on the year they had a great WS chance
Blue Jays World Series
And these are the ones that are off the top of my head. Most of the 30 for 30 shows were things I never heard of that ended up being amazing to watch.
If anyone ever did something like this the first thing to remember is it has to be a compelling story first and Canadian second. CBC to often puts the Canadian first and story second.

On Monday it's Larry Walker vs Jacques Villeneuve.
I have not followed baseball ever since the MLB player's strike in 1994 with the Expos having the best team in baseball that year. The would have definitely won the world series.
