Thomas Chabot confirmed on the intermission that if the Flames wouldn't have traded for Dougie in the 2015 Draft, they would have taken him at 14. Went 4 picks later to OTT at 18. Flames flew him out for a tour of city and arena.
Our scouting team seems spot on identifying really good players in middle of first round.
