The Flames are good, the Oilers are no good. But what are the limits to goodness and no-goodness? You can't win (or lose) all your games. Tampa Bay is having an unreal year, and the Sens have the worst record in the league this year.

Tampa has 81 points in 53 games. 0.764 points %, on pace for 125 points.
Calgary has 73 points in 53 games. 0.689 points %, on pace for 113 points.
Edmonton has 51 points in 53 games. 0.481 points %, on pace for 79 points.
Ottawa has 43 points in 52 games. 0.413 points %, on pace for 68 points.

What would happen if the Flames imploded and closed out the season playing like the lowly Senators? They'd finish with 97 points.

What would happen if the Oilers caught fire and closed out the season playing like the Lightning? They'd finish with 95 points.

TL;DR Edmonton is no good.
