Tkachuk is the second best forward on this team. His mutually beneficial success with Backlund is not indicative of not being a line driver. Truly one man lines in the history of the NHL could probably be counted on one hand:

Connor McDavid
Bobby Orr
Pavel Bure
after that, every player has a linemate they work or worked best with.
Kucherov and Point or Stamkos.
Gaudreau and Monahan and Lindholm.
Marner and Tavares or Matthews
Marchand and Bergeron or Krejci
If anything Backlund is the guy who doesn't belong in this conversation.
