Dorion tried to sell Duchene's agent on the future of the Senators
$, term, contract are all secondary to Duchene and Stone right now. They want to know how the Senators are going from one of the worst teams in the NHL to competitive team in a timeframe that suits Duchene and Stone.
Most of the focus by the Sens right now is to convience Duchene, but that could change through the week

Panarin and Stone are holding up the market on secondary players like Ferland

Even though the Flyers have won 8 straight games and are in the playoff race, more likely than not the Flyers will trade Simmonds for the right offer.

Florida did inquire about Bobrovsky but found out the price is too high when they can chase him as UFA.
Will check back on Feb 25 and if the price dropped they might pull the trigger

Quick not expected to be dealt before deadline
IF Quick gets traded more likely at the draft

Oilers to begin to reach out next week to start asking for permission from teams to talk to candidates

teams are already jockeying for an audience with Panarin when he starts fielding meetings during the courting period in June.

Brooks reported that the Panthers might trade for Bobrovsky before the trade deadline so they can offer him an 8 year deal (if they wait until FA they can only offer him 7)

Panthers will continue to clear room. Hoffman might be moved

If Jackets do trade Bobvrosky, do not be suprised if they take a run at Quick

Teams say they won't be able to talk to Panarin about a contract before trading him, but that might not matter since Panarin says he isn't interested in negotiating right now.

Sens need to know about Duchene and Stone's decisions soon as it will impact Dzingel's future and other decisions

Bergevin is watching the Ducks looking for forward depth. Says he won't give up futures so not likely going after the Ducks 'prime' assets.
May have also looked into Dallas forward Brett Ritchie

Friedman thinks Carl Hagelin would be a good fit in Buffalo

Flames have checked in on Zuccarello

Going to take a lot to pry Kreider out of the Rangers

teams are asking about Preds Eeli Tolvanen.
Preds could be looking for 2 forwards with Watson's return uncertain

Ducks are optimistic about being able to re-sign Silfverberg

Ducks GM Bob Murray is considering preforming "major surgery" on the team. Question is when he does it

Wings will not trade Kronwall unless he asks for the opportunity to chase a cup or the offer is something they must consider

could see the wings trade Howard and then re-sign him in the summer
