The loan may not exceed 6 days & 3 games, but can be extended an additional 2 games if required. Oilers remain $1,230,834 in full cap hit value above the ceiling, & are required to shed that amount from their salary cap prior to being able to activate Sekera off LTIR. EDM placed Sekera on off season LTIR for the purpose of exceeding the cap on the last day of training camp.”
