Maroon's play this year wouldn't bump anyone out of the top 9, like I said, If he played on the Flames he would be the worst forward in terms of production, and that is because Mangiapane and Czarnik would be in the press box. Its not like the line he is on sucks either. Oskar Sundqvist is having a decent year.
The only thing that Maroon would bring is physicality, and in that case, he would be a Peluso who might score one or two more goals, and would cost a draft pick. Not worth it, the Flames would be better off trying to acquire someone else.

Fair point. Although I think Maroon would also have a "prove it" aspect to a playoff run. His NHL career may be over if he doesn't and I like that kind of motivation for a role player. With Maroon I would see him on the 4th line and displacing the 12th forward (Czarnik / Mangiapane / Hathaway) who I dont think add a lot at the current time.
