I find the Canes celebrations embarrassing from a professional sports team but I will say if their fans enjoy it then I don't have an issue with them continuing to do it. Is that Francis using the word "mercilessly"? Seems quite the overstatement. I have no problem with Carolina celebrating like they do, also no problem with Lindholm grinding their gears about it a bit.
