Sure, but my point is, did he plan and expect to be given a backup #2 role guaranteed, anywhere, when he decided to set out do this, this offseason?
I would say that would be very presumptuous thst he did. So, it means he knew he’d have an uphill battle and ideally be trying to find the best 3rd gig to give his dream any shot. He can’t do that after committing to the Stamps next year.
