That's because Flames would have a winning record with any goalie in the league.
The Flames score over 3.7 goals per game.
Cam Ward is the only goalie in the league who has a GAA over 3.50.
By your logic, you can argue that virtually every goalie would be acceptable as a Flames backup.
That may be true, but why not have higher standards?
