Actually blind squirrels are every bit as good at finding nuts as their counterparts with full vision. Squirrels find food due to their uncanny ability to smell nuts and their superhuman ability to remember their hiding places when they bury them.
Their eyes are mostly used for detecting potential predators but almost never for finding food.
So yeah, blind squirrels are doing just fine finding nuts.
