Pretty sure Hathaway received the memo as you could read his dejection knowing he had scored as he was hoping Faulk was going to deflect it in his own net therefore crediting the goal to Ryan.
Wouldn't be surprised if he asks the officials to credit the goal to Peters!!!!!
