With the amount the Flames score Smith should generally win with a .900. If they gave up 40 shots on Smith I guess they kind of sealed their own faith on that one.

His terrible numbers are the least of it. It's the timing of the goals, the way shots that are a routine save for a peewee goalie go right through him, or playing the puck unnecessarily and making bonehead decisions with it.
I had some sympathy for him as an old guy who hit the wall hard and fast. But after the Boston game where the Flames s***kicked the Bruins and still lost ONLY because of him. Then he comes out and says
"We have to be better" that was it. I thought he could still be a bit of mentor or something but you can't s*** the bed that badly and that often and not own it.
