OK you can use that as logic -- but how many times have the Flames come back from seemingly insurmountable deficits this season? There are the odd games that this team loses when perhaps they shouldn't. This one... the Montreal game in November... there have been a couple. But there have been
so many more losable games that the Flames have found a way to win.
It's not the end of the world. The Flames can afford a game or two like this. They shouldn't budget for them, but they can happen -- every team loses games they should win, and vice versa. We've been blessed to see far fewer losses than normal this year, but they are bound to happen, like it or not.
