Smith's improved. His recent save percentage is only slightly below the league average. For a backup, that's not an enormous concern. I do think an upgrade should be pursued but it's not a pressing need -- he's been so reviled that some people have begun to lose objectivity.
Anyway, the reffing tonight has been awful. What is going on out there?
