Simmonds is the 2nd leading goal scorer and 5th leading point getter on the Flyers...a team that struggles to score a lot.
Maybe he has slowed a step and perhaps his defensive game has suffered a bit, but he is the type of player that could really solidify this team and the kind of playoff vet that this team could most certainly use one or two more of IMO.
As with all deals though, it would hinge on acquisition cost.
