Pretty obvious ploy by the Oilers to make it look like they don't have to trade Talbot. It'll be great to see the league call their bluff and have them stuck with Talbot for the rest of the season, then have Talbot leave in the Summer while giving them the finger, leaving the Oilers with nothing to show for the asset.
Doesn't matter what the Oilers say, Talbot will not sign back with them. That's the key.
