He said Jankowski was expendable compared to Frolik which I totally disagree with. When you compare salaries Jankowski is providing better value as his work on the penalty kill adds as much or more to the team than anything Frolik is adding on the wing. Flames are heading to a point where salary cap space is going to be tight and players like Bennett and Jankowski are better options than Frolik at his $4.3 million cap hit. It's pretty obvious he's a big Frolik fan which is fine but he's probably going to have to come to terms with the fact Frolik isn't long for this team as if he's not traded in the offseason it's not likely he's a Flame after his deal expires.
