You always want good players, having too many is a great problem, but when you look at what tkachuk is doing this year and then extrapolate that out to having another player doing similarly, you start to be able to forecast problems pretty quickly.

That Hamilton trade is such a grand slam walkoff home run I think it more or less has nullified that deficit spending. The only real way not having made those picks hurts now is not having a collection of secondary prospects the team could use to trade.
