So no Lowe McT at this, letting Nicholson earn the money and take the hits. Lowe front and center in importance though. Group decisions to be made (by Lowe) as most have been since Hitchcock.
Tambelleni too was a young hot GM commodity at the time, and wanted to be a GM just desperately enough to over look the warning signs. Same is going to happen here, find a guy wanting to be a GM just bad enough that he's going to allow Lowe to "work with him". Thst way Lowe can create the rules of engagement and meddle in with his years of experience as his excuse . The new GM will be a puppet in now time.
But that's next year, thus year we get to look forward to more bold moves like locking up an unproven backup goalie midseason, more to spite the UFA goalie they have no discarded then any other rational reason. And, like this group did, bringing in schlubs like Manning etcetc.
Letting Chia off the hook in the second period of a game, giving him about a 4h head start to Nisku and the airport before announcing, so he couldn't be tracked down.
So much arrogance and ego back in the picture now that Lowe is back in charge, it's going to be great as he continues where he left off.
The press back on board now that they ran Chia out of town as far as the public goes and spit on him as leaving as is common practice up there. The first move.is going to trigger said press to again start kissing the boots of the execs and hope.is going to be for sale.
Truly a glorious time to be a Flames fan.
