If I’m Bob Nicholson, my first phone call would be to Las Vegas to ask for permission to talk to Kelly McCrimmon. He would be my choice to take over this Edmonton mess knowing that Steve Yzerman wouldn’t be interested.

Why would LV even think about allowing the Oil to talk with McCrimmon? They're competing with them as a divisional rival. *(Yes - as a "good" corporate employer I understand...at the end of the year.)
