funny stuff.
there's people that shop at places for bragging rights, and there's people that actually shop and clip coupons (mostly cards nowadays) and get deals here and deals there.
costco is tough to beat on many things but to think they're automatically the cheapest is like thinking safeway is automatically the most expensive.
in general, yeah. but sometimes i don't feel like tripping over 3% of calgary for a loaf of bread, the thrift police are probably already on their way.

One way to almost guarantee a much much lower price than anywhere on earth is to buy the Kirkland brand name from Costco. Its their own brand and all of the products (garbage bags, body wash, gatorade-type drink) are rated incredibly high in Consumer Reports. I am a bit of a Costco nut though.
