I like them, it’s like watching a game in a bar you get cheering during the play them bits of discussion in the commercials and real discussion in the intermission.

I don’t think anyone of the three things is the purpose of the game thread.

I think it’s to feel a sense of community while watching the game alone while your kids are sleeping. And it does a good job at that.
