Personally, I wouldn't sign Rittich until after the playoffs.
If he finishes the season at his current pace and doesn't either completely fold or brightly star in the playoffs, I could see him receive $2.5M x 2 years.
If he takes the Flames deep into the playoffs, he'll probably receive an over payment.
