Well being a cap floor type team I could see Carolina intrigued by the trade, proven scorer who is having a disastrous season and a brutally lower than average shooting percentage playing on the third line/2nd PP when he signed for the 1st line/1st PP which just isn’t going to change anytime soon. Neal plays a similar game to Ferland, is an attractive contract to expose during the Seattle draft and he has no NTC or NMC so it’s a player I’d imagine wouldn’t be generally available to Carolina via trade. Intriguing thought and if we had to add a futures asset to get it done I’d definitely consider it.
