This discussion leaves me a little bewildered. TJ is a +32 partnered with Gio who's up for Norris this year. Last year Gio was:

82 13 25 38 for the whole season without TJ as a partner.

The year before that he was

81 12 27 39 for the whole season without TJ as a partner.

This year he's beat his previous points already by 5 and his +/- is +36, and TJ's is +32. If y'all don't think TJ brings out the best in Mark, look at some numbers. Either that, or just ask him. He'll be the first to tell you.

If you think that 'anyone' can have the chemistry TJ and Mark have together being both over +30 more than half way through the season, while the team is having the best year they've ever had, on a steady road to the Cup.. well you aren't very smart.

Calgary would be lucky to have him sign for longer. And if the Flames win the Cup this year, I'm willing to bet more people may think he's worth paying for.

Then again, I am totally, admittedly biased.
