Hate to be a downer

But I think we get absolutely trounced this game. Only way we beat the Flames in their barn is by trying to slow the game down to a crawl’s pace and win 2-1. That’s not going to happen, because we don’t know how. If we try to outscore this team, they’re going to win. And that’s what’s going to happen.
CGY dominant at home and a top-5 team in the league at home in SCSH% (Scoring Chance Shot ). We’re top-10 on the road in that department, about a 2 differential.
The key is we have the worst SCSV% and the third worst HDSV% on the road.
Also expecting our shot total to be somewhat from our away average, while CGY should stay relatively consistent to their average.
Nothing about this game feels good considering how we’re playing.

I honestly doubt that if the panthers hired Housley that he’d be able to turn it around. it takes more than the head coach. Because of our cap situation this past offseason Tallon mostly stood around and did nothing with the exception of hoffman and Kiselevich additions but as I figured it wouldn’t be enough to turn things around. most people assumed by missing the playoffs by a point we didn’t need much but as I figured that was complete and utter BS. The goaltending got worse and the defense didn’t improve. Look at all the moves made my buffalo over the past few seasons. If buffalo had the same personnel as a few seasons ago do you really think housley would have the record he does this season? if you read my previous statements we needed not just the coach but goaltenders and different d-line personnel.

We’re not ready to start for the 7/7:30 pm starts as we give up too many goals to start the game.
We were too tired to finish when we had a 9 pm start last night, as we gave up the tying goal with 8 secs left in the game.
I guess we just need every game to start at 8 pm Eastern time. Then it’s just right. We need a Goldilocks time to perform our best.

So this team is in the worst possible spot it can be in as a franchise with only 4 years to get it right. Ownership better open their wallet to get a coach and better D and a true goalie. Might as well call Monty up in March and asses him at the NHLlevel.

D holds Calgary to under 25 shots on goal. Panthers down 3-1 and make the comeback sealing the win with an empty net goal.

I can't wait to see how badly these losers manage to lose tonight.

At this point all you can do is be amazed at how they can pull it off night after night.

Can I raise a serious question to all of you?
When DT hired BB. Who had what say over the hiring of the Assistant Coaches? This just might be the root of our problems this season, Did BB pick his own assistants? (Which he would feel most confidant in that they would follow his system). Or did Panthers Management dictate who his Assistants would be? I would really appreciate your input on this. I think that it is important.

Not good considering the Panthers are 6th best in the league in shots against differential +143. We need more than anything good goaltending.

Flames have like one shot on goal? I mean at some point they're going to get shots and that's when we're going to lose.

Another massive save by Rittich. Deemed unsaveable by most on here but that’s what good teams get. They give up high quality chances and goalie bails them out.

Calgary goalie made some great saves to keep them in the game. What good goaltending does for a team it’s incredible. Imagine if they have Reimer or Lu? We would be up 4-0

Also would of given the C to Yandle for a year or two before transitioning to Barky.

I want to know what goes on inside the heads of people who watch Panthers play ice-hockey and come out with the thought "We should trade Barkov" "Barkov really needs to be better", when literally everything else is wrong. I feel like people do not understand the effect ass defense and ass goaltending have on everyone in the team.

that goal by Calgary was an unlucky deflection. that was a crazy shot like the one Borgstrom put on goal last night.

While I don’t like seeing Calgary score, I always like to see Frolik doing well

I think that's interference but I don't think it will be ruled as such. He impeded Lu's ability to get up into position for the shot, but it wasn't really big or forcible contact.
