I don't think he's entirely out to lunch. The comparison he just made is apt, but Connor is a gamebreaker the way that nobody else in this league really is, and he has no help. Point has a lot of help, but he's a big, big piece of that Tampa team. He shouldn't be undervalued.
I'll say this: Point is far likelier to win a cup than McDavid is anytime in the next few years. He's a good Conn Smythe candidate as well. Connor barely showed up in the last playoffs he was in, it was mostly Drysaddle as the difference maker then.
