i think the only concern with carolina would be optics; if they traded Ferly back to calgary, they'd be looking at extracting their pound of flesh for the fleecing BT already laid on them... jmho

Yeah I agree on the Ferland front. I could actually see him getting a 1st or a 2nd+good prospect due to his cheap cap hit and ability to play physical. The Leafs, Pens, Jets, Preds could all be teams that would have interest. I don’t think Waddell is looking to get fleeced by Treliving again but then again Dorian traded Karlsson to the Sharks after the whole Hoffman embarrassment
Eberle would potentially be a decent fit on the second line but a very solid fit on the 2nd PP where he could take Ryan’s spot as the right shot
