I love Johnny and I loved Theo (before he lost his mind), but no one can hold a candle to prime Iginla.

His performance in the spring of 2004 was the greatest hockey I have seen. In 2004 he should have had the Conn Smythe and the Stanley Cup.

That season he was a beast, and absolutely crushed it while playing on a team with no where near the talent of his competitors.

I specifically remember the flames scoring 5 or 6 in a game against the Habs in 2004 and being absolutely blown away because it had felt like years since we had scored that many. The depth of the team around Johnny is at a level that Iginla and the rest of us could not even have dreamed of in 2004.

Hockey is a team sport but the spring of 2004 will go down as the greatest post season I have watched a individual player have on the Flames.
