You guys are, probably, going to see the Rook, Delia, in net. He has a 0.952 Sv%., on a high volume of shots, due, to the 'Hawks turnover prone defense. The kid has been very good.
Yesterday the 'Hawk lines were
Saad-Toews-Kahun
Anisimov-Strome-Kane
Perlini-Kampf-DeBrincat
Kunitz-Caggiula-Kruger
Keith-Dahlstrom
Gustafsson-Murphy
Davidson-Seabrook
And I would expect the same, unless Forsling is over his illness, then Davidson, fresh off knee surgery, would be the scratch.
I, also, wouldn't be surprised to see Kunitz sat, and Hayden dressed, although, Kunitz did finally score one yesterday.
Recent 'Hawk relative success has been due to an upswing in special teams...yesterday, the 'Hawks scored 1PPG, and 2 others within seconds of a PP expiring.
Our weakness has been vs. aggressive forechecks, as the lines with Kane or DeBrincat seem to get pinned in the D-zone often, especially as the two mentioned guys try to "cheat" and fly the zone. Also, as I mentioned, our defense is mistake prone (Seabrook has been a turnover machine.).
I have to work tonight, but, hope to be able to stream the game from my office. However, I apologize in advance, for typos and mangled syntax if I try to post on the GT from my phone via tapatalk...the autocorrect drives me crazy!
Hope for a good game, and I hope my guys can avoid the season sweep. BTW, even though the 'Hawks are still down the standings, with, the most games already played, they ARE only 6 points out of a WC spot, so, are not yet mailing games in (as witnessed in fighting back from 2 down, on the road, in a non-conference game, yesterday).
Good luck to your Flames, and my friends here at CP, and I will check in with the PGT. even if I don't get the chance to post on the GT.
