He isn't even considering the equipment changes, but that does make me wonder.
Of all G's in the NHL to play at least 20 games this season (32 of them) only 21 can offer up a save% of .910 or better and only 20 have a 2.80 or better GAA.
Last season there were 35 guys at .910 or better and 32 at 2.80 or better.
Something is amiss among that position league wide this year...and i dont believe its only a coincidence that equipment changes happened over the summer.
