So I was chatting a little bit with some friends over the holidays and was thinking about how the flames can avoid losing a good D prospect to Seattle.

If all our D men are healthy then would moving Kylington to the wing be sufficient to accomplish a couple things.

1. Get him some playing time and stay up with the big club
2. Change his designation so that we can protect him as a forward in the expansion draft and then not have to worry about Valimaki, Hanifin or Andersson.

Obviously a lot can change between now and then but I think this could potentially get us out of what looks to be a bit of a jam.
