The 1st goal was a good goal. A different decision might have been an easy stop, or an easy passing play. Listen to Gaudreau talk about a very similar goal against Winnipeg and he mentioned that he 'saw' a hole and hit it. Good goals are scored sometimes.
The 2nd goal was odd, and would have been a flukey save if he got it.
He made a bunch of good saves tonight and is moving faster than I've seen him as of late. The team needs to start controlling the play.
The Calgary goalie isn't the problem right now.

yeah, sometimes you just get beat... the others guys are getting paid too.
the second goal, i think smith should have been more aggressive on the pass in, which is arguable i suppose. Brodie did a bad job of controlling the winger's stick... after that it was just a lucky bounce off the incoming detroit player.
nothing egregious like other goals that Smith has let in and gets grief for.
that said, Calgary is in a hole now, and Smith needs to be able to make a few big stops to hold the fort... the team in front of him really needs to step it up
