That's a joke though because there is nothing in that hit that goes anywhere close to being worthy of a match penalty.
Also, if you watch the replay, you can see the ref stick his hand up immediately after the hit, so Bennett was going to get something there regardless of the fight.

The Sharks also got a 3 minute power play, as is expected when there's a major vs. minor inside the last five minutes of regulation.
The logical progression of the penalties is a fighting major and match penalty to Bennett, and an instigator, fighting major and game misconduct to Goodrow.
