I'm a little confused. There's many in this thread sarcastically responding to those saying it wasn't late by stating that he was hit after he passed the puck so therefor it's a late hit.
I'm not up to speed on all the new rules but did they change it so you literally can't hit a player after the puck leaves his stick? I swear I see like 50 hits a week where somebody dumps a puck in or makes a pass and then a guy hits him right after that happens.
Nothing is ever called, but they're more pedestrian hits. But still makes this discussion confusing.
