If I’m an opposing team GM I look at a guy like Frolik and say to Treliving “okay so you want to give me this guy who’s agent is bellyaching but who doesn’t try or really do anything and sometimes makes bonehead plays and could be injury prone for $4MM?”
Then I would stay silent and wait for Trelivings ask for a 7th round pick to which I may pass.
Honestly who would want this guy now? More like if you’re looking to deal a lower level player let’s chat Dube, Hathaway, Jankowski, Bennett (this won’t be popular here), Mangiapane... you know... people with upside not pouty has beens that want to make a scene in the public eye and embarrass me as GM.
If Frolik wants ice time he should go earn it just like every other player on the team has to.
