Won't the Flames want that same depth that he provides?
Frolik for a handful of magic beans in the second round is fine when you reference Glencross, because the Flames were clearly out of the playoffs and not a huge hope for the next season to make a run either when they traded him but the Flames window is in the next 3 or so years and extra NHL forwards and defenseman (and a goalie?) means the Flames will be buyers this trade deadline.
If you had to trade Frolik, you'd like to find a trading partner with a similar player who wants or is forcing a change of scenery.
