Nah, I don't think it's that cut and dry.
They both have value to rebuilding teams in need of each bodies.
They aren't pieces that make a team give you anything of value, but they aren't so bad you have to pay a higher price to get.rid if them.
Cap values have to work for a trade. If the rangers want toove a high value player for a high value pick(s), they understand they will have to most like accept salary back.
If Tampa wants McDonough and Miller, the rangers take back namestnikov to consummate the deal and get the valuable picks they are after.
