I agree, if we are targeting someone for a team boost I would target someone other than Carter.
Preferably a 2c or strong 3c. Schenn or Staal would be awesome. A 3rd line LW would also be good, someone with wheels maybe like Burakovsky(in the same mold, doubt we have something the caps would want as they like us are in win now mode). A good 2G like Lehner to replace Smith would be great.
Our farm is going to take a significant hit i believe as Brad will be going big game hunting.
