Also been trying to find old pictures of South Center mall with the old arcade, found this gem on beyond.ca on google of the center of the mall in the old old days. Sadly a terrible quality image.

Not sure this is what you are referring to, but there used to be a video store where the dollar store is now beside the Sobeys. Video Update. But it was a block north of the Rogers.
Video Update was awesome. Tuesday was 2 games/movies for 99 cents. Rogers was only 1 for 99 cents. Used to go to VU religiously every Tuesday.
