It doesn't mean there's more going on.
Lucic had 50 points his first season in Edmonton, dropped to 10 goals, last season, and now has something like 2 goals in his last 82 games
Loui Eriksson had 30 goals and 63 points his last year in Boston. The next year in Vancouver, just 11 goals and 24 points in 65 games.
Obviously Neal's drop is more precipitous, but sometimes players just lose it suddenly.
