I wish that they would actually be consistent on this, but the Tom Wilson blindside hit only garnered a 5-min misconduct and ejection, and Dumba’s hit on Backlund got a big fat nothing.
It feels like the NHL DOPS just throws darts blindly at a board full of random numbers to determine what hit is punishable.
